Rain Forest World Music Festival

Spent the weekend in Borneo and in Sarawak and hit up the Rain Forest World Music Festival. It was pretty neat & I had a lot of fun dancing to ethnic music. Enjoy.

Architecture @ UNIMAS

Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) is the eighth public university in Malaysia, and the first one initiated by the aspirations of Wawasan 2020.
I was inspired by the clean architecture at this university where we spent 4 nights 5 days. Although it was quite beautiful here, it was also quite boring here.

I had fun shooting around the city. Dustin and I just walked around China town and the Central Market. We found this one graffiti that we both agree is probably Banksy. I had a really nice day and I hope these images portray that.

I got to shoot State Cross Cournty for the Sandusky Register down in Columbus on Saturday so my boss gave me Sunday off. My normal weekend is on Monday and Tuesday, so I took advantage of the long weekend and flew to Washington D.C. to visit my boyfriend Simon. Simon is interning at the Washington Post Dot Com and was excited to show me around. Here are some images from that trip.

The sky is bigger in Scotland

Well the other day i get really lucky because Simon was going out with some sailors and he invited me to catch a ride with him. It was then the camera gods came out and blessed us with beautiful light. it was a great time because i have never been completely surrounding by people sailing, and never in Scotland. Hope you enjoy, because i was all smiles.

ps i accidently put up some photos 2 times because i messed but, but i don't feel like fixing it so deal with it!

The first couple of day

These are my snap-shots of the first couple of days. There aren't too many things in here that I'm truely proud of, but I'm on my way. So far I've loved every minute of being in Scotland. We are staying at Queen margret's college in Edinburgh in these odd flats. So far we have been around the city, Inerness, North Berwick, and around in little places around the city. This is my first time going aon trip anything like this, so my shots are a wee bit post cardy, but it's ok because I want to show my family and Brad what I see, and let them realize why I've sounded so excited in my e-mails!
