Terenganu

I had an amazing weekend living with a family in Terenganu. Here are just some of the images from the weekend, but the photos don't show how wonderful my family was and how much they taught me. I hope to see them again and thank them for opening their home to me. (thanks Papa Habib!)

Rain Forest World Music Festival

Spent the weekend in Borneo and in Sarawak and hit up the Rain Forest World Music Festival. It was pretty neat & I had a lot of fun dancing to ethnic music. Enjoy.

Architecture @ UNIMAS

Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) is the eighth public university in Malaysia, and the first one initiated by the aspirations of Wawasan 2020.
I was inspired by the clean architecture at this university where we spent 4 nights 5 days. Although it was quite beautiful here, it was also quite boring here.

Around Downtown Kuala Lumpur

I had fun shooting around the city. Dustin and I just walked around China town and the Central Market. We found this one graffiti that we both agree is probably Banksy. I had a really nice day and I hope these images portray that.

Professor Dr. Cornel West

I didn't get a chance to go to DC for the inauguration but did have the pleasure of hearing Professor Dr. Cornel West speak Sunday afternoon before he headed to DC to meet with Barack Obama. Here are a few images after his speech with our University President Roderick McDavis.
